NEWS FROM OUR CONGREGATION

SUMMER EVENING SERVICES AT THE OLD HIGH CHURCH We are hosting guest preachers this year at special services all at 7.30pm at the Old High Church followed by refreshments and question and answer session: The final service will take place on Sunday 19 August when the guest preacher will be the  Rev. Peter Macdonald, leader of the Iona Community. .More details from Margaret Sutherland.
OHSS WORLD MISSION EVENING on Saturday 25th August at 7.30pm at St Stephen’s Church Hall.  Please come along to hear some short talks from returning volunteers from countries including Africa, Malaysia and South America. There will be musical entertainment, wine, soft drinks, and nibbles. Donations welcome to the Church of Scotland World Mission. Details from Deborah Macrae  or Christine Mackenzie.

STREET PASTORS There will be a Benefit Concert held on the 6th August, in aid of “Street Pastors, Inverness”, hosting a number of home-grown acts, including the “Inverness and District Gospel Male Voice Choir”.
