A NOTE FROM THE MINISTER I’m glad to say that my health seems to be reasonably stable at the moment, but due to the drugs I am taking, I still do not have a lot of energy. I decided that I would undergo a second procedure, which hopefully will deal with the symptoms of my dodgy heart rhythms and return me to full health. This will take place in Aberdeen sometime in February or March. I’d like to thank you all for all your prayers and good wishes, and for your patience and continuing support – it is much appreciated. And I’d like to wish you all a blessed Christmas season – Peter
INTERIM MODERATOR The Rev Alastair Younger has been appointed Interim Moderator in the absence of Rev Peter Nimmo due to illness. His contact details are younger873<at>btinternet.com.
PASTORAL CARE will be provided by Rev Arthur Sinclair, our Pastoral Assistant  arthursinclair<at>btinternet.com while Peter is absent from his duties, due to illness. However, for the week commencing 26 December 2016, please contact Rev Alastair Younger (details above).

THE SUNDAY EVENING DISCUSSION GROUP  will have their first get-together of 2017 on 8 January at 7pm in St Stephen’s Vestry. We shall be starting to explore a new book about the Psalms, so this would be an opportune moment to welcome new members to this fortnightly event, which is timed to last one hour only. More details from Andrew Stevenson.
HEALING SERVICE The monthly Christian Healing Service will be held in St Stephen’s next Sunday 8 January at 4pm to which all are invited. Ruth Martin.
