INTERIM MODERATOR The Rev Alastair Younger has been appointed Interim Moderator in the absence of Rev Peter Nimmo due to illness. His contact details are  younger873<at>
PASTORAL CARE will be provided by Rev Arthur Sinclair, our Pastoral Assistant arthursinclair<at> while Peter is absent from his duties, due to illness.
OLD HIGH CHURCH ROTA DUTIES – HELP REQUIRED We would welcome your help for the following duties at Sunday services: Beadle; Door duty; Creche (PVG required but can be arranged). If we have insufficient helpers for door duty, we will open the East door only. If you are able to help with any of these important duties on a rota basis, we would love to hear from you. THE SUNDAY EVENING DISCUSSION GROUP  will have their first get-together of 2017 this evening at 7pm in St Stephen’s Vestry. We shall be starting to explore a new book about the Psalms, so this would be an opportune moment to welcome new members to this fortnightly event, which is timed to last one hour only. HEALING SERVICE The monthly Christian Healing Service will be held in St Stephen’s this afternoon at 4pm to which all are invited. (Ruth Martin)
HOBBY/CRAFT EVENING on Wednesday 11 January in St Stephen’s Hall at 7.30pm and fortnightly thereafter. Please bring your craft to share with others. If not a crafter, perhaps you would like to learn. Please come along and enjoy the camaraderie. Further details from Margaret McAleer.
OHSS CHRISTMAS OFFERINGS are going to the Open Doors which is an international charity serving persecuted Christians and churches in over 60 countries where Christianity is socially or legally oppressed. Linda Philip.
OH GIVING TREE a preliminary thank you for donations for the Highland gateway. 7 large boxes of beautifully wrapped gifts for the Highland Gateway appeal were collected on 13 December. Thanks to everyone who so generously helped to make Christmas a bit brighter for the recipients. A formal letter from Alix Gilchrist usually arrives in early January. Diana Fraser.
