OUR MINISTER is on a phased return to work and undertaking limited duties. The Rev Alastair Younger continues as our INTERIM MODERATOR. PASTORAL CARE continues to be provided by Rev Arthur Sinclair, our Pastoral Assistant, who should be informed of anyone ill at home or in hospital.
BARNABAS MUSICAL: A lively Christian musical by Roger Jones, performed by Christian Music Ministries and four local church choirs, including our own two choirs, this evening at 7 pm at St Stephen’s. SUNDAY EVENING DISCUSSION GROUP on Sunday 24 September at 7pm in St Stephen’s vestry, then fortnightly thereafter. Continuing our exploration of “Life in the Psalms” by Patrick Woodhouse, we shall be starting a new section entitled ‘Wonder’, reflecting on the vast beauty of this mysterious universe, God’s purpose for it, our place within it and our responsibility for its care. CROSSREACH £1 COIN BOXES The Church of Scotland social care agency has produced money boxes to collect old £1 coins which go out of circulation on 15 October. If you have any of these coins around the house please bring them to Church and donate them to this worthwhile cause. Val Cantley val.cantlay<at>
HARVEST APPEAL We will support the Highland Foodbank at our Harvest Thanksgiving Services on Sunday 1 October. Our congregation has been asked to donate: Tins of Ham, UHT Milk, Tins of Potatoes, Tins of Fruit, Packets of Biscuits and Shower Gel. Please bring any of these items along to Church. “Bags for Life” would also be much appreciated.
