Old High St Stephen’s in the news...

The Kirking of the Council will once again take place on Sunday 7 September. ‘Reports of its demise have been greatly exaggerated’ according to our Minister, the Rev Peter W Nimmo. Our minister helped to inaugurate the Three Virtues street sculpture (see his sermon about it here ). He wrote about the choice of names to the Inverness Courier claiming that our City's 'new' virtues have an echo of the former Three Graces, which were named after the Christian virtues of faith, hope and love.

Our Pastoral Assistant, Douglas Clyne, led an unusual ceremony on Loch Ness on 3 June- a water burial for unclaimed ashes. Read about it on the BBC News website .

The Rev Douglas Clyne blessed the new street improvements in the City Centre in May 2007. Details from the Inverness Courier.
