The event is on 20 September from 10.00 to 15.45 at The King’s Factory Smithton. As many people as possible, particularly Elders, are encouraged to go along. STEWARDSHIP MEETING Fiona Penny, one of the Church of Scotland’s Stewardship Consultants will be coming to Old High St Stephen’s to tell us about new ways of running a Stewardship Programme on Tuesday 8 July at 7.30 pm in St Stephen’s Church Hall. All elders and members of the congregation interested in Stewardship are welcome to attend the meeting.

CHURCH OPENING The Old High Church is already open to visitors during the summer, but we are aiming to have it open Monday to Friday, 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm. This is much appreciated, both by residents and visitors. It also, incidentally, brings in a large amount in donations. We still require more folks to help out with this mission to the city centre. It’s a fascinating task, and needs little training, just a the ability to give a warm welcome. If you can help, even just for a little bit of time, please contact Margaret Sutherland as soon as possible.

WORD FOR TODAY New copies of Word for Today, daily Bible readings and comment are available free in the vestibules at each church.

CROSS REACH Cross Reach news and prayer letter (June to September 2014) now available at church doors.

ANNUAL ACCOUNTS Full and summary versions are now available via our website at http://oldhighststephens.com/church-accounts-now-online/ . For paper copies, or if you have any questions about our finances, please contact our treasurer, Sandy Cumming .
