CAWDOR AND CROY These congregations have become vacant as the Rev Jan Mathieson moved to Williamwood Parish Church in Glasgow this week. Inverness Presbytery has appointed our own minister to be Interim Moderator of the two Kirk Sessions. Peter asks that you would pray for the folks of Cawdor and Croy as they begin the search for a new minister.
OLD HIGH MUSIC The final organ recital of the 2015 series will be held on Saturday 7th November at 12 noon. Tiffany Vong read music in Oriel College, Oxford, before studying for a Masters in organ and harpsichord at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, with the acclaimed organist David Hamilton. Her programme will include work by Bach, Parry, Franck, Howells and Mendelssohn. This promises to be another memorable event in this year’s programme, so please join us for a wonderful hour of music. Contact Andrew Stevenson.
OLD HIGH HALL Sadly we have not yet been able to start the work at the Old High Hall due to issues with tenders. However the Kirk Session will discuss the situation this week and we hope very soon to be able to start the work. Please look out for more information in next week’s bulletin.
HOBBY/CRAFT EVENING Wednesday 4 November 7.30pm to 9pm in St Stephen’s Hall. We will be making items for Christmas Coffee Morning at the end of November and would ask more crafters to join us. The more we make/sell the more the Church gains. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with tea/coffee and biscuits. Your company/talents will be most appreciated. All are welcome.
