OLD HIGH MUSIC The inaugural concert of the 2017 series will take place on Saturday 11 February at 12 noon, when the Badenoch Chorale will perform a programme including pieces by Haydn, Parry, Elgar and Sullivan, along with modern songs and organ interludes. The brochure detailing monthly recitals throughout the year will shortly be circulated, and we would ask the support of the congregation in circulating these as widely as possible amongst family and friends. This programme is now a well-established part of the music life of the city, but we are keen to build audience numbers further in the course of this coming year. The concept provides everyday people, mums and dads, grandparents, single people (in fact, anyone who has availability and a heart for families with young children) the chance to press into their faith, grow and be challenged, listen and ask wondering questions, provide care and above all, listen to the prompt of the Holy Spirit before speaking.
