OLD HIGH CHURCH OPENING The Church will be open on weekdays from now until September on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 12 noon and 2-4pm. We can always use more volunteers, especially to cover times when the regulars can’t make it- please contact Christine Mackenzie if you can help christinemac73<at>hotmail.com. And please let your friends know that they can visit the church at these times.
SUMMER SONGS OF PRAISE a joyful evening worship service at the Old High on Sunday 21 August at 7pm. A chance to sing favourite hymns, and to meet our new Old High organist, Robin Versteeg, who will also treat us to some organ fireworks! If you have an old (or new) favourite hymn you’d like us to sing on the evening, please send them to our Church Administrator, Pat Macleod: invernesschurch<at>gmail.com.
FREEWILL OFFERING ENVELOPES for the year beginning July 2016 are now available. Contact Christine Mackenzie for Old High envelopes and Sandy Cumming for St Stephen’s envelopes.
OHSS QUIZ SHEETS are available at the church doors. Questions on Old Inverness. £1 each, proceeds in aid of Fabric Fund. The winning entry will be drawn on 8 June and winner will receive a £5 gift voucher. Further information Margaret McAleer.
MEET & EAT There will be a Church lunch on Thursday 30 June at 12.30pm at the Craigmonie Hotel. Anyone who would like to join a group for lunch and fellowship is welcome. The cost is £7.50 for a 2 course meal with coffee or tea. Please contact Val Cantlay to book or to ask for transport.

CHRISTIAN AID I had forgotten to include Hannah’s piggybank, which she keeps to put in small amounts over the year, in the Christian Aid count, so another £11.89 can be added taking the total to £5420.99. TEA AFTER CHURCH We will next have tea after the service at the Old High in early July, on the first Sunday that Robin Versteeg, our new Old High organist, is with us. The exact date has not yet been confirmed.

HIGHLAND FOODBANK Blythswood Care – for June they are looking for small tins of ham, sweet biscuits and long life juice. They currently have opportunities to volunteer at two of their food banks.
